Pollution Essay in 500 Words

Pollution is the undesirable changes in our nature which harm living organisms. It alters the natural environment and results in adverse condition. It may cause many types of health problems and even severe disease. Pollution is caused by its components called as pollutants.

Pollutants are any physical, chemical or biological contaminants which cause pollution. For example- Air pollution is caused by the release of poisonous gases such as chlorofluorocarbons (CFC’S). So CFC’S can be turned as pollutants. It is estimated that approximately 9 million death in 2015 were linked to pollution. Pollution is rising day by day and is a very serious concern for us.

Pollution can be of several forms of which some are-

  • Air pollution- Release of harmful gases like sulphur dioxide, chlorofluorocarbons, hydrogen sulphide, etc are cause severe respiratory diseases.
  • Noise pollution- Pollution caused by the excess noise of transport, machinery, animals, loud music, etc can be turned as noise pollution. It affects the ears and sometimes affects our brains too.  Loud noises cause headaches,  migraines, etc.  In severe cases, a person may lose his hearing senses too.
  • Plastic pollution- Plastic is being used up in every day to day life. Bottles, brushes,  plastic bags, wrappers are some examples.  They are non-biodegradable and does not decompose easily into the soil and on burning produces harmful gases. Plastic pollution leads to the creation of great pacific garbage patch,  an island of plastic triple the size of France.
  • Water pollution- The industries and drained pour the dirty water into the rivers, ponds, oceans, etc which pollute them. This harms the living organisms in the water and ultimately destroy the ecosystem.
  • Soil pollution- Due to the accumulation and dumping of non-biodegradable plastic material in the soil, the soil loses its natural properties. Also, the pesticides, fungicides, undecided being chemicals in nature destroys the soil properties.
  • Radioactive pollution- The radioactive material is difficult to dispose of as they spread radiation which is harmful and dangerous to living organisms.
  • Thermal pollution- It is the kind of pollution in which the quality of water is decreased by changing the temperature of the water. It is mostly done by industries which pour hot water into the freshwater source.

Pollution is rushing day by day. Hence it is very important to make sure we are contributing out little steps to save our mother Earth.

  • Less use of vehicles and more use of eco-friendly vehicles, bicycles or public transport.
  • Planting more trees in our locality and reducing the cutting of trees.
  • Reusing and recycling some products at home which are possible and avoiding garbage production.
  • Avoiding wastage of water and it’s drying into freshwater.
  • Lowering the amount of use of air conditioner and refrigerator as they are the main source of CFC production.

We need to take small steps in our day to day life and should try to make our Earth a better place to live.  Saving our Mother Nature is not just yet of government,  committed,  or conservation groups but it is the duty of each of us.  As rightly said that- ‘Progress is impossible without change and those who cannot their minds cannot change anything’.

But when the water is polluted now how can we fulfill our needs of water. The main cause or water pollution is mixing of waste in water bodies. Only 3% of water left for drinking purpose on earth, rest percent is of non drinkable water.

Soil pollution or land pollution is pollution related with soil. Soil can be stripped of its nutrients by a number of chemical agents and when this happens, it is known as soil pollution. The most Common causes behind this pollution are pesticides, insecticides, agricultural chemicals, industrial waste, and radioactive waste. Radioactive pollution is arising from those factories or science laboratories which used to do experiments with radioactive substances. This is very hazardous pollution as it is creating irreversible changes in our environment. In spite of all this the workers doing job in these factories are under more exposure to those radioactive elements. Once radioactive pollution is present in the environment, it can stand for decades, making enormous areas of land unfit for human.

Thermal pollution is the pollution produced by the over production of heat. Many industries release heat energy as a by-product and this thermal energy is somewhere responsible for global warming. But today, when we roam around over locality, we can find many children from age 8-12 year old who are indulged in doing paid work like washing car, doing household work, babysitting,  catering services, etc. This activity was children are employed to work is called Child labour. Child labour is a severe crime which is rising in underdeveloped and developing countries.

Childhood is the best phase of someone’s life. Every one of us at some moment of time remembers our childhood and it’s sweet memories. But the children who work are exploiting their budding time doing work. It is the time when they should be provided proper education, health facilities and positive environment that can nurture the personality and talent in them. Childhood is the only time when the child starts preparing for his/her bright future.

Poverty is the main reason for child labour. Lack of money forces the child to work in severe conditions. Children are paid low wages then adult, not unionised and don’t demand workers right.

Parents are very irresponsible and force their child to work in order to run their family. Parents should provide educational, care and love.

Literacy and improper education among people is another reason for child labour.  The parents as well the people who employ children must understand the value of childhood and the rights of children.

The Culture values of many societies encourage children to work for developing skills. They are considered as assets to generate income.
Education problems, distance from school, overcrowding, poor quality educational, various conflicts,  drought and resettlement, etc.

Everyone should be educated of the provisions laid down in our constitution for the protection of children as well as the laws that stop their exploitation.

Child Labour Essay under 400 Words

Child labour is the work done by children basically under the age of 14 year which is done by their owners in any area. It is a crime in India yet many people still doing this and nobody is even complaining about them. It is because their own parents force them to do so, they have sent their children to work just to earn extra money for their living.

In India child labour is in prevalence because of poverty. Its poverty rate at the time of British departure was at 70 percent which is now at 21.1 percent. This much people are living under poverty and not able to complete their daily requirement, that’s why the whole family works to earn their livelihood. In spite of this many people are forcefully collecting children to work for them as they can pay less to them.

Child labour is stopping the children from getting education which is very important for each and every child. To develop a country education is basic requirement and these children are the future of that particular country. But as they are not going school and not getting education they are declining their mental growth and as the environment of the work place is also not suitable for children.

Along with lack of education they are under danger too, because of hazardous radiations, dangerous places, very high building area work etc. Childhood is the birthright of all children, which should be given to each and every child in the love and care of parents, this illegal act forces children to live like elders. Due to which, many important things are lacking in the life of children like; good physical ability and development, improper development of mind, socially, intellectually unhealthy, bad languages etc.

Child labour is a punishable crime by “Child Labour Act, 1986, that is any person below the age of 14, and the CLPR (Child Labour Prohibited and Regulation) act prohibit employment of a child in any employment including as a domestic help. According to the act, the penalty for child labour will now be imprisonment between six months and two years or a fine of Rupees 20,000 to 50,000 or both.

This child labour is a hindrance in the development of our country this should be strictly stopped. To stop this crime we should all unite and aware about this and we should inform to police if we see any child labour in our area, as a responsible citizen we should remember our duty towards our country.

We must focus on the skill development of the children rather than making them work for pieces of bread. In this article we have discussed about article on child labour,  Short essay on child labour and much more.

As the production increases the variety of goods also increases which ultimately results in competition and production of better quality of goods and services.

More competition also reduces the price and as a result, there is a wide range of option for the consumers.  It eliminates the distance between the consumers and producers making the drives more available worldwide.

For example,  In India, we may get a new customised phone on the same day it is launched in other parts of the world.  With the help of globalisation more, trade and business are increasingly developing the economic, political and cultural unity.

Essay On Globalisation in 250 Words

Globalisation is the chain broadness that makes the world more interesting connected and interdependent.  It allows the free movement of goods,  technology,  services,  products,  and ideas from one place of the world to a global platform. The best example of globalisation in our day to day life is the consumption if Chinese food,  using foreign manufactured phones like iPhone, etc and wearing beaded clothes likes Gucci.  It simplifies the process in which service gets a worldwide platform and it is just not confined to a single place.

People from one part of the world can receive services from all over the world and can be connected with them easily.  The producer has customers all over the world from different countries. It is done by multinational companies who provide a wide range of services. It brings more competition among different business and hence provides a wide range of option for customers all over the globe.

In the present day, the most important source of globalisation are the social networking sites which give us global platform connecting millions of people ex- Instagram,  Twitter,  Even many sites are using this feature and selling products worldwide and gaining millions of money. It indicates the free movement of goods and services across national boundaries and creates interdependence among different countries. It mainly occurs in three forms that are Economic globalisation,  Political globalisation, and Cultural globalisation.

Economic occurs by the integration and interdependence of different nationalities and by increasing their economic status. Political globalisation is when the government takes action and works for the betterment of people and economic growth globally. Cultural globalisation occurs by sharing of values and reasons globally and when people of different community starts accepting it.  This is the cultural enrichment process also.

Globalisation essay in 500 Words

Globalisation is the process of expansion of business and technologies to distant places or different countries globally.  Globalisation is considered to be a vast time taking and multidimensional process in which the services are not just confined to a single place.  In this process, the market is increased beyond the country level and marketing is being done by the process of imports and exports.

According to Stieglitz, Nobel Prize Winner for economics and former chief economist of World Bank ‘Globalisation is the closer integration of countries and people of world which has been brought about by the enormous reduction of costs of transportation and communication and breaking down of artificial barriers to the flow of goods and services,  capital,  knowledge and people across borders’.

Globalisation allows free trade and flow of market products at the international level. Globalisation mainly started during the 1990s when the WORLD TRADE ORGANISATION and INTERNATIONAL MONETARY FUND started to allow other countries to spread their business in a worldwide stage.  But in India, it started by 1991 under Union Finance Minister Manmohan Singh.

Liberalisation is another outcome of this process as it creates freedom for the businessman and trader to increase their services out of boundaries and to make a profit. Globalisation helps in the flow of new products globally with the facilitation and participation of more manufacturers, producers and consumers. It is thus responsible for greater connectivity of every aspect of society,  politically,  economically and socially.

Globalisation is one of the important factors that affect the development of the country.  It does not just expands the variety of services to the people but also increase the employment and income generation.  Globalisation hence develops the economy of the country. It involves the interaction of countries and thus decrease boundaries and creating a free flow of trades and industries. It creates an environment of international competitiveness which eventually causes the production of superior quality of goods and services for the consumers. It has also resulted in the greater development of our country India.

As agriculture is the primary activity engaging 70% of the population,  the introduction of advanced farming techniques and equipment has resulted in greater production in this industry.  Another important sector, Education,  has been developed to a greater extent due to the implementations of the new methodology of teaching as well as a foreign institution making a place in India.

Though there are so many advantages of globalisation even a coin has two faces.  Globalisation eventually harms the local craft person and poor uneducated workers by taking away their source of bread and butter.  It has resulted in forceful employment of child labour, discriminating and creating an unfair working condition.

At last, it is rightly quoted by Anna,  Globalisation has made us more vulnerable. It creates a world without border and makes us painfully aware of the limitations of our present instruments, and of politics,  to meet its challenges. From a very long time,  girls in India were discriminated. They were not allowed to enjoy any freedom and rights.

They were discriminated in many ways like female foeticide, dowry, deaths, rapes, racism, illiteracy, gender discrimination, etc.  These led to an uneven population where girls were far less than boys before the government in 2005 took actions.

Today girls are equal in competition with boys and are proving themselves best in every field.  Some of the examples are Kalpana Chawla, Pratibha Patil, etc. So we must try our best to save a girl child by any means, to develop our culture.

Save Girl Child Essay In 150 Words

A female can be a mother, wife, sister, daughter, the motherland where we live or the goddess we pray. They are the one who brings live on Earth. Even though it is impossible to imagine a life without them, society discriminates them in the form of female foeticide, gender inequality, taking way educational and financial tights from them.

Girls are made dependent on the male dominating society which takes away all freedom from them. The discrimination of girl child has resulted in more poverty, uneven sex ratio, etc in our country.

More and more discrimination led to less economic growth of our nation. Just imagine if our female and male start to work together, our country can reach another height. The government has launched several programmes to develop a girl child. Few of them are the Ladli scheme,  Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme,  Kishori Shakti Yojana, Sabla scheme, etc.

The mindset that a girl is a liability should be changed. We should educate a girl and make them independent. We need to understand that girls are no way less than boys. The rights should be given equally so that our country may nurture and excel.

Save Girl Child Essay In 250 Words

‘Save girl child’ has been a very common topic to discuss about. Earlier in Indian society girls were discriminated in many ways. Education, female foeticide,  racism, rapes, deaths, employment, poverty, etc were some major discrimination to women in which few still exist.

When a girl was born it was considered to be a shame for a family in society. Parents of the girl are socially discriminated in many ways. Girls are only allowed only to do household chores and take care of the family.  She is unaware of her rights and powers.

There was a huge gender inequality were society was ‘male dominated’.  Girls are to stay at home where the outside world was ruled by men. Such old beliefs of men have stimulated them for violence against women which resulted in a continuous decrease in the number of the girl child in society.

This ultimately led to an uneven population of girls and boys.  The ratio of girls to boys became very low. Later on, with continuous efforts of the government for rights of the girl child and their development the problem been to solve. Also, women protested and fought for their rights.

Today women are no longer less than a man in any field.  They are achieving every height and maintaining an equal status with men. There have been many initiatives by the government to save the girl child but it is not the government’s duty but everyone citizen of India.

We treat our motherland as a goddess, we worship goddess in festivals and keep faith in them then why do we discriminate girl child. We need to give them their rights and let them set free to grow.

Save Girl Child Essay In 500 Words

The position of a girl child in our society has been unnoticed for many years. Lately, girls were discriminated in many ways. Foremost she suffered female fortitude that is killing a female child in mother’s womb itself.

If even in some house she was born, then her mother was socially discriminated for giving birth to a girl. Later, she was not allowed to take education and was only taught to stay home and do household chores and take care of her family members.

Later when she attains 18 years of age she is forced to marry someone of her parents choice. Overall, girls were assumed to be a burden to the family.  When a girl child is born, it’s a shame for her family in society.  The discrimination starts from home itself.

The boy child is allowed to get educated and work outside but girls are forced with walls to do household works. All the rules and regulations should be tough and active against those who are involved in crime against the girl child. No matter if they are the parents, teachers, relatives, or doctors, they should be punished.

Later this resulted in the uneven sex ratio of an India where the population of females was far less than that of man. The government in 2005 took actions and banned female infanticide, immortal traffic (prevention) act,  right to education and gender equality, etc. The government of India has also launched various schemes such as

LADLI SCHEME– To save girl child and control female fortitude and improve the status of a girl in education.

SABLA SCHEME– It was launched by the ministry of women and children development to empower adolescent girl through education.

DHANALAKSHMI SCHEME-  It was launched to provide cash transfer to the family of a girl after her birth,  registration and immunization.

KISHORI SHAKTI YOJANA- It was launched to ensure equitable share to a girl child.

BETI BACHAO, BETI PADHAO- It was launched for the education and development of girls.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself said in a speech that “We are not worthy of being called citizens of the 21st century. It is as if we are from the 18th century – at that time, and just after a girl’s birth, she was killed. We are worse now, we don’t even allow the girl to be born”.

People consider their daughter to be other people’s wealth because daughters will be given marriage one day, so people with a depressed mindset think that it is worth to spend any kind of daughters! Therefore, they do not allow the daughters to read, nor do they nurture them properly.

Therefore, the honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi of our country started a new scheme for the protection of daughters and the initiation of daughters’ education, which was named after daughter Beti Bachao Beti Padhao.

Let us know what is the reason that due to which the situation of the daughters of our country has become seriously miserable today.

1) Gender discrimination
2) Female feticide
3) lack of education
4) Corrupt mentality
5) Dowry practice

Now, we are going to talk about Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyaan. Through this essay, we will know why there is a need for a plan like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao in India. And what is the purpose of these plans. These speeches will also talk about how successful it is. So here is the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Essay in very simple words.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Essay In 200 words

Beti Bachao Beti Pachao Yojana, a joint initiative of Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and Human Resource Development. The scheme was inaugurated by the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on January 22, 2015, in Panipat district of Haryana State. And it was started under the pilot project in 100 lower sex ratio districts.

The scheme was started by the Prime Minister so that the people of the society can be made aware of what the importance of girls is. By completely eliminating female feticide, it will work to increase the awareness among the common people in order to save the lives of girls, and to make a boy’s brains celebrate the birth of a girl and to educate him with full responsibility. Has been said only for.

On 22 January 2015 in Panipat, Haryana, a government scheme was started by PM Narendra Modi in the name of daughter Bachao Beti Teacho. This program was started in view of the plight of girls in Indian society. According to the data, in 1991 (0-6 years old) there are 945 girls on every 1000 boys, whereas in 2001 the number of girls was reduced to 927 and again in 2011 or in 2011, it fell to 918 on 1000 boys. If we look into the statistics of this Constitution, it will be seen that the number of girls in every decade will be falling continuously. It is also a threat to life prospects on earth. If such issues related to early girls have not been resolved, then in the coming days, the earth will be without women and no new birth will occur.

Save Girl Child Essay in 400 Words

In India, we used to treat female as a goddess, according to every religion the value of a lady is always precious. A woman is an important part of our society, and they participate in every moment of life equally like a man. Although these morals are seemed useless in India after noticing the sex ratio of male: female.

Due to the constantly declining sex ration of woman, it seems that the existence of the female caste should not be threatened. That is why to maintain the proper sex ratio of a woman in India, it is very important to save girl child. At the present time, the Indian Government is running very well known scheme called, ‘Beti Bachao’ to save girl child and produce awareness about decreasing sex ratio of a woman in our country. Under this scheme, the Government has taken several important steps to save the lives of girls at the gender discrimination level.

The reason behind the declining sex ratio of a female is that people still believe that only the boy is needed to advance the lineage of their family. The orthodox thinking of people makes them avoid a girl child. This is the strongest reason for a declining sex ratio of a female. While in spite of this, Dowry is also a reason behind the avoidance of a girl child. In India, dowry is also a big drawback which is consistently ruining our country development.

Poor parents do not want any girl child because of their poorness, as they are not capable of collecting enough amounts for their marriage. Another reason behind this declining sex ratio of a female is illiteracy, people think that only their son is capable of taking care of them. They think that giving birth to a girl child is a curse for them; they supposed to accuse their wives to give birth to a girl child.

The Indian Government is doing his best in this direction to maintain the sex ratio of a female. It is illegal to abort a baby just because of his gender, gender examination at hospitals and clinics is prohibited and if any doctor or practitioner is caught doing this then he or she will be liable for punishment.

The Medical Termination of Pregnancy Act 1971, is an act provided for the termination of certain pregnancies by registered medical practitioners, is applied now in our country and the abortion of any pregnancy should be noted and recorded by each and every hospitals and it can be check by the authority at any time. This act is started to avoid female foeticide.

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Essay In 800 words

Today the females are in tough competition with the male population. Girls are reaching heights in every field and proving gender inequality wrong.

Keeping in mind the bad statistics of the country’s girls, Prime Minister Narendra Modi started the Beti Bachao Beti Practice Scheme. This is a very effective action plan, which aims at improving the health of the girls, their safety, education, the abolition of female feticide, personal and professional development etc. is the only goal of the whole country.

This scheme was implemented in 100 selected cities of the country by a national campaign to implement it in all the States and Union Territories. There is some positive aspect in this, that this scheme will prove to be a big step to remove crime and wrong effect against girls. We will also be able to hope that in the coming days, due to social and economic reasons, no girl will be killed in the womb. Therefore, by eliminating gender discrimination throughout the country, daughter-saving daughter-girl-child education scheme is aimed at making the girls independent of both economic and social.

The mentality of the people of our country has become so corrupt that they do not respect women and daughters. Swami Vivekanand Ji said that the country where women are not respected, that country can never progress!

Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojna or Save Girl Child Mission started with Haryana state. To improve the condition of girls, this effective method was implemented in 100 districts of the entire country. Due to the lowest female-male ratio, 12 districts of Haryana had been selected, in which (Ambala, Kurukshetra, Rewari, Bhiwani, Mahendragarh, Sonipat, Jhajjar, Rohtak, Karnal, Yamunanagar, Panipat and Kaithal) were notable districts.

On January 14, the Haryana Government celebrates a program called ‘Beti Ki Lohri’ to improve the condition of girls and give importance to them. The objective of this scheme is to make girls socially and economically independent so that they can get their proper rights and higher education.

We can also see that the number of girls has been continuously declining for many years. Due to which the problems can start in the country. As the progress of the human race will gradually decrease. Modern diagnostics in hospitals After diagnosing the gender by the instrument, there has been a considerable decrease in the number of girls due to the killing of a girl child inside the womb. This bad practice has come into existence only because of gender discrimination in society.

Few lines on Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme

1) Under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Scheme, it is necessary to change the conservative mindset against daughters in the social system.

2) Girls should pursue education.

3) discrimination should ensure the survival of the village and the safety of the whole gender election process.

4) It is also important to ensure the education of girls in the house.

Our India country is considered as a land of mythological culture and religion and affection and love. But since the Indian has started promotion and developed new techniques. Since then there has been a huge change in the mindset of the Indian people! Due to this change, there is a huge upheaval due to the population.

People’s mindset has become so bad that they are beginning to discriminate between sons and daughters! Daughters have started to think like a thing. Such people celebrate the birth of a son, and on the other hand, if the daughters are born, the whole house is full of silence. As if someone has been hit.

Etc. is the main cause of the misery of daughters. That is why the Government of India should create strict laws for the protection of girls so that no one should dare to exploit girls and discriminate against them.

My Mother Essay in 500 words

The word mother itself defines the infinite love and care.  She is the one and only women in our life who stands by thick and thin and support us in every situation. For a mother her children are everything. In our Indian tradition, the mother placed above God. She is regarded as God for her children. As God always loves and cares for her children and so is the mother.

The Unconditional Love Of Mother

A mother from the very beginning adores her child, she nurtures her baby inside the womb and carries them for 9 months.  After struggling through drastic changes in her body she gives birth to her with unimaginable pain. She feeds and nourishes them with her milk.

As her child becomes toddler she teaches to talk and walk. She is obviously the first teacher in a child’s life. She makes delicious food instantly. She works day and night for her family and takes care of the house.  She is the one who converts a house to a sweet home with her love.
